Customer Satisfaction (It's just something extra we provide)

I am another Silverado fan, so I'm going to add my two cents in here! I spent 7 months looking at new and used trailers, but couldn't find what I wanted, or at least not in a price-range anywhere near what I could afford. I took a tour of the Silverado factory with several friends. The team at Silverado Trailers not only showed us how their trailers are made, but what to look for in structural materials, welds, jointry, framing techniques, suspension, wiring, marketing strategies, etc., which would be relevant to any trailer search. It was very informative and educational with absolutely no pressure to buy their product. I would recommend the tour as a good place to start, since I learned a lot about what to look for. They even brought in pizza for lunch. After I decided to get a Silverado, they helped me with design and options. Now, I have the exact trailer I want.
It tows like a dream and is much handier to back than the Sundowner I was using, my horses love it and haul very well in it. Plus I got it quite a bit cheaper than a comparable trailer offered by competitor brands. It took me a while to realize that the question was not "what am I getting for this price quote?" which I was asking, but "what do you want?, tell us and we'll make it for you" which is what Silverado Trailers delivers! (good thing I never claimed to be the sharpest knife in the drawer).
The customer service is excellent. I received e-mailed photos almost daily of my trailer's fabrication progress, so I was able to keep abreast of what was happening and was able to change a couple things I didn't like as it was being built. I must say, I have come to the conclusion that a gal just can't have too much diamond plate, and highly recommend upgrading to diamond plate flooring if you are getting an all aluminum trailer.
For myself, I wanted a lot of ventilation, in a light and airy trailer, with a lot of head and neck room, and an extra high ceiling since I have rather large Thoroughbreds, so I have a 7'6" high ceiling, air vents, and lots of windows. I strongly recommend rubber torsion suspension.

We just purchased our 3rd factory-direct Silverado, an '06 2-horse aluminum bumper pull for $8500 done on a "build sheet" so we could order the configuration & features we wanted. Our other trailer is an '04 2-horse gooseneck LQ Silverado also custom built. My daughter just sold a steel 2-horse bumper pull & ordered a 3-horse bumper pull from Silverado. We have had great treatment from Silverado Trailers.
Don't confuse this w/Silverlite, which can't sell factory direct
(so you pay the middle man too)

& does not do custom-built sheets. The website is www.silveradotrailers.com & Ricks' e-mail is rickr@silveradotrailers.com.
Even if you don't buy, it wouldn't hurt to check out the safety features these trailers offer and what comes standard so you have an idea of what is included in each different type of trailer. Can't hurt. Might be a real eye-opener and money saver. Then you can better decide what you can & can't live without. Whew, I got carried away.

      Hi Gang,
I belong to a group called Oregon Equestrian Trails which has an e-mail list for group communication. This one just came in, and I thought you might like to see it. I'm thinking about adding my
2-bits to it, except I think I'm the only one in the organization that likes a straight load. It is such a discipline thing. The dressage queens and half of the eventers only want the straights. Probably because for so many years it was the only way to get the big horses to fit into a trailer.
For years, Doug and I pulled all over the United States with a Silverado 3-horse bumper pull. It was a
great trailer, and we never had to use sway bars or an ez lift hitch. But with some trailer you do. It's always comforting to know that the extra support and weight distribution is there. We did add it to our rig that we have now. We've expanded to a 4-horse, still with Silverado.
We really like working with Silverado since the factory is local here in Springfield, and you're able to custom design your trailer if you want any extras or need something a little different. Silverado does a superior job with construction, and Rick Orr is the man to talk to.

Some of the features we had put on ours are as follows:

             • Spot lights mounted around the exterior for when you're loading/unloading in the dark

             • Crush resistant cushion under floor mats for long halls, leaving horses fresh even after a long ride.

             • Insulation in ceiling and walls for more stable temperature (no heat filtration from the sun beating                 on the exterior metal ~ ours is aluminum)

• Climate control vents ~ The fans are on sensors so that when the temp inside reaches a certain temp                 the fans kick on and either exhaust the air or bring fresh in, depending on the way you set it. No                 mangers. That's a subject in itself.

• Many other features that I can talk to you about if you like. Or, you can visit Silverado website and                 see our trailer. It's the Cascade model. Ours is unique since it's custom, but the idea is there and you                 can get the same thing in any size you want. Definitely go slant.

The Entire Silverado Team,
Thank you to everyone for my beautiful trailer. The trip home was a breeze. I hardly knew the trailer was there. The guys at Hitch Pro & Tow were wonderful as well.
The web site was extremely easy to navigate, the custom customer service is the best, and the final product is of the highest quality and the pride shows in the craftsmanship. I am so pleased with every aspect of my experience with the Silverado team.
Thank you so much for your continued dedication even after the sale was done.

Thank you all so much. The Silverado Team will be highly recommended to everyone. My husband is looking forward to spring on the Umpqua!

Bravo Silverado,
Trish Ringor
